CXZ-CXP-PH12
The Corinex 11+1 phase coupler is a passive electronic device that. connects multiple electrical circuits in the 2-34 MHz frequency band. The product is used to inject Powerline signals into up to 11 electrical circuits from one Powerline master device. After connecting to more electrical circuits, all the circuits become one common Powerline network for data, VoIP and IP Video transfer.
The Corinex 11+1 phase coupler is typically used in Multi Dwelling Units that have multiple electrical meters connected to individual premises.
Each of the outputs of the device is connected to the load side of the meter, thus
bypassing the meter and the attenuation that would have occurred if trying to “push” the Powerline signal through the meter.
The input of the phase coupler is coax so that the device is compatible with either the Corinex MDU Gateway (any of the 3 modules) or the Corinex CableLAN adapter.
The Customer Premise Equipment in each of the individual premises would be the Corinex AV200 Powerline adapters, either the desktop or Wall Mount versions.
The bandwidth from the coaxial port (connected to the master or head end) is shared between each of the CPE devices in the individual premises.
