Universal Powerline Association (UPA) is an international non-profit trade association that a group of leading PLC companies are members of (including Corinex). The UPA’s goal is to set specifications for PLC devices in both access and in-home markets and then send these specifications to standards bodies like IEEE, ETSI and CENELEC for consideration for developing new standards. Users then know that devices that are UPA certified will comply with certain specifications and standards. The following Corinex In-Home Products use the UPA specifications:
