Smart Grids Europe 2026

About Smart Grids Europe 2026

The third annual Smart Grids Europe 2026, taking place July 20–21, 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany, brings together utilities, grid operators, technology providers, and energy industry experts to discuss the modernization of Europe’s electricity infrastructure.

The two-day conference will examine the technologies, strategies, and regulatory developments shaping the future of power distribution. Key topics include grid visibility and automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics, distributed energy resource integration, flexibility, cybersecurity, digital twins, grid resilience, and the evolving role of distribution system operators.

Corinex will contribute to the program with a practical perspective on how utilities can increase usable capacity without unnecessary infrastructure buildout. The discussion will explore how digital infrastructure can provide greater visibility into existing distribution networks, improve the use of available assets, and support capacity growth under increasing network pressure.

We look forward to connecting with utilities, partners, and other industry leaders working to build more visible, flexible, and efficiently utilized electricity grids.
